We’re turning history into hospitality. At Hauss, we’re known for breathing new life into great buildings – and our latest project is no exception. This time, we’ve taken an old solicitor’s office in the heart of Coatbridge and are transforming it into a 12-bedroom, fully digitised Aparthotel.

Why Coatbridge? It’s brilliantly connected – just a short hop from Glasgow and not far from Edinburgh – with direct rail links and easy access to the M8 and M74. But more than that, it’s a place on the up. A town with strong roots, a loyal working community, and a growing visitor base.

The building itself has character. It stood empty for a while, but we saw potential. The kind that’s not just about bricks and mortar, but about creating space for people – whether you’re here on business, relocating for a few weeks, visiting family, or waiting for your own home to be renovated.

Each of the 12 suites will have its own kitchenette, laundry facilities on-site, and a dedicated living and sleeping area. We’ve thought about what makes a stay feel effortless. From self check-in to high-speed WiFi, ambient lighting to smart tech that responds to how you live – not the other way around.

This isn’t just a hotel. It’s a home base with flexibility. A place designed to support the way modern guests travel, work, and rest.

And while the bones of the building nod to its past, the inside will be a fully future-proofed experience – layered with thoughtful design, comfort, and control at your fingertips.

We’ll be opening our doors later this year. But for now, we’re knee-deep in turning vision into reality – selecting finishes, finalising floor plans, and making sure every detail reflects the quality you expect from Hauss.
